On the Road II Opening Reception at Oolite Arts
Miami Beach, FL – October 16, 2019 – Oolite Arts celebrated the grand opening of its newest exhibition “On the Road II,” featuring works by eleven emerging artists that curator Larry Ossei-Mensah has encountered during his travels from Miami to Detroit. The exhibition, on view through Dec. 15th, offers an exploration of how artists respond to issues of mobility, freedom, and identity at a time marked by political and societal unease. Happening simultaneously throughout the night, Resident Night offered an opportunity for guests to meet our resident artists and visit their studios. The evening included live entertainment by DJ Kumi, light bites and complimentary drinks.
