20th Annual Mayor’s Ball Raises More than $1.1 Million to Benefit United Way of Miami-Dade at Hilton Miami Downtown

Miami, FL – June 1, 2019 – Local business, government and civic leaders enjoyed an enchanted evening at the 20th Annual Mayor’s Ball, hosted by Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, and wife Lourdes P. Gimenez. The event, held at the Hilton Miami Downtown, raised more than $1.1 million to support United Way of Miami-Dade’s work in education, financial stability and health. Mayor’s Ball guests enjoyed an evening right out of a storybook with several dance performances featuring mythical creatures and a packed dance floor. Event chairs were Carly and Steve Patterson and was presented by the Related Philanthropic Foundation.
