Miami, FL – April 13, 2019 – On Saturday evening, the City of Miami celebrated the second series of Opera Italiana is in the Air at Regatta Park in Coconut Grove. ABC Local 10 anchor, Amy Viteri served as host and emcee while welcoming over 1,400 guests in attendance. Alvise Casellati, the president and music director conducted the orchestra composed of 67 local musicians from the Opera Italiana Symphony Orchestra, created especially for this concert. This year’s performance focused on arias and ensembles of Gioachino Rossini’s Traviata and Giacomo Puccini’ Tosca featuring Soprano, Davinia Rodriguez and Tenor, Vincenzo Costanzo. Opera Italiana is in the Air supporters included the City of Miami commissioner, Ken Russell and the Consul General, Cristiano Musillo. Additional sponsors included Bel Real Estate Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, ENI, Brooks Brothers, Sangemini and the Alexander Bodini Foundation, to name a few.
