Most significantly, all agree that Santa Barbara stands among the most significant winegrowing terroirs on the planet for the production of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Wineries participated in this seminar include: Brewer-Clifton, Byron, Cambria, Kendall-Jackson, Nielson and Siduri. The spirited discussion and tasting illuminated the history, winegrowing elements and wines of Santa Barbara— a not-to-be missed session for all who love the clarity and precision of Burgundian varieties.
