Sergio’s Cuban Brickell Grand Opening Celebration

Miami, FL – December 12, 2018 – Brickell’s newest fast-casual Cuban restaurant, Sergio’s Cuban, hosted its grand opening celebration on December 12th. Under CEO Carlos Gazitua’s vision, Sergio’s is all about commemorating the past while forging an appetizing, memorable future. “Liberation is a way of saying ‘this is our generation,’ Gazitua explains. Multidisciplinary artist Camilo Rojas unveiled his boldest art piece called “FREE CUBA”; a light installation that plays on the words in Sergio’s Cuban’s tagline ”A FRESH TAKE ON CUBA” and revealing the message of “FREE CUBA“. Guests from all over the world shared their freedom stories with Camilo Rojas as he personalized their t-shirts by writing their last names and the year their family came to know freedom. Guests enjoyed complimentary Sergio’s Cuban bowls, Hatuey Beer, “Mentiritas” aka Cuba Libres (Havana Club Rum, Coke, and lime), limited edition Camilo Rojas’ T-shirts, music by DJ Le Spam and a photo studio by @_thisisSeba.
