Miami, FL – December 7, 2018 – Mandarin Oriental, Miami is delighted to welcome the New York Academy of Art (the Academy) for its first Miami Art Week installation. “Real Men” curated by David Kratz, President of the New York Academy of Art, and Academy Trustee, Actress and Model, Brooke Shields. This exhibition examines what “being a man” means given the changing perception of masculinity in America today. It is a discussion of the conflict between the public face and the private desires of men and how they present themselves in light of current social, cultural and political tensions.
