Miami, FL – December 7, 2018 – Guests celebrated Miami Art Week and the opening of “Judy Chicago: A Reckoning” with a special night of music by The Misshapes. First Fridays at ICA Miami are part of a neighborhood-wide initiative celebrating art and performance in the Miami Design District. Every first Friday, ICA Miami will remain open until 10pm, and offer experiences for visitors of all ages. First Fridays at ICA Miami are free and open to the public, and are presented by the museum’s Innovation Partner, MINI USA. The Misshapes are a New York City based DJ duo composed of Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol. In their early 20s, The Misshapes cultivated a worldwide following with the success of their downtown New York City dance party, “Misshapes,” founded with former member Greg Krelenstein. Through the four year party, their celebrity, fashion and art fans made The Misshapes one of today’s most sought after DJ and are widely recognized as global tastemakers and cultural influencers.
