Barry’s Bootcamp x World Red Eye – Sally Schimko from World Red Eye Films on Vimeo.

Miami Beach, FL – October 19, 2018 – World Red Eye is inviting you to #JOINTHEHUSTLE as we partner with Barry’s Bootcamp – the strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. To continue the partnership, WRE partnered with Sally Schimko – creator of a healthy-cooking and active lifestyle Miami-based blog @mysexyveggies. When Sally isn’t whipping up nutritious snacks for her two kids, Ethan and Arielle, she’s writing on her blog and posting her Instagram page.

Although Sally is not a certified nutritionist and doesn’t believe in diets, she is a strong believer that balance in everything is the real essence of life. Sally’s passion to inspire others and teach her followers, doesn’t come from any recipe book. Instead, her innovative gluten free, plant-based and Mediterranean dishes comes from searching through her fridge and shelves. The health blogger strives to teach her followers that fitness should be just as important as your diet. After she drops off her kids to school, the mom of two drives over to Barry’s Bootcamp to get her sweat in. WRE met Schimko at the Miami Beach studio to catch her in her element. #JOINTHEHUSTLE and read the full Q&A on Sexy Veggies.

WRE: Where are you from, how does this inspire your recipes? Whats your favorite go to dish to make?

SS: I was born and raised in Israel, so all my recipes are influenced by a Mediterranean kitchen. For example, fresh raw green herbs are my go to spices.

WRE: Where do you find your inspiration for all your delicious recipes?

SS: I love watching cooking shows, but I feel most of my ideas start in the grocery store and continue in the kitchen. The kitchen is my playground for the last 7 years (mommy life). I love playing and trying new recipes every single day, and more than all I love knowing that my family eats homemade fresh food every day.
