Miami Beach, FL – October 26, 2018 – World Red Eye is inviting you to #JOINTHEHUSTLE as we partner with Barry’s Bootcamp – the strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. To complete our partnership, we met up with the one and only Lisa Hochstein. You may have caught Hochstein on the hit BRAVO TV series, “Real Housewives of Miami,” but this Toronto native has made her mark in Miami as an activist, fitness guru, and beauty expert. When she’s not running around after her three year-old son, Logan, or managing Hochstein MedSpa, Lisa is taking the time out of her day to work on her own health and fitness.
The former Real Housewife of Miami, is married to one of Miami’s most notable plastic surgeons, Dr. Lenny Hochstein. The power couple, not only changes peoples lives physically, but also opens up their home to host charitable fundraisers for foundations such as, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Humane Society to name a few. The Hochstein’s also enjoy the Miami social scene hitting up their favorite hotspots such as Prime 112, Komodo, and Novikov Miami. Although she has a busy schedule, Lisa always finds time to make sure she not only looks good but feels good. Hochstein is no stranger to fitness as she regularly exercises at Barry’s Bootcamp and has the body to show it. After Lisa gave us the inside look at Hochstein MedSpa unveiling the latest treatments, we drove over to the Barry’s Miami Beach studio, located on Purdy Ave, to catch Lisa get her hustle on. Read the full Q&A below.
WRE: What is something people don’t know about Lisa Hochstein?
LH: A lot! On social media, I definitely don’t overshare relatively speaking. I’m silly, an over thinker, I’m very sensitive. I can even be a little shy at times, and sometimes I can’t stop talking.
WRE: How do you balance being a mommy to Logan and running Hochstein MedSpa?
LH: Unfortunately, I don’t have Logan‘s grandparents living in Miami to help out, but Logan being in preschool and his nanny really helps me out. Thankfully, I make my own hours so and have an amazing team at the spa so I still get to spend most of my time with him!

WRE: What do you and your husband Lenny do for fun? Do you have a favorite go to spot in Miami?
LH: Lenny and I enjoy spending most of our time with our son. When we aren’t working, we love being out in the Miami social scene hitting up our favorite restaurants Komodo, Prime 112, and Novikov Miami. We also love supporting galas in our community, going to events, concerts, and of course hosting beautiful parties at our home. We can’t wait for our upcoming annual Halloween party.
WRE: Do you want to have another child in the future?
LH: 10,0000 percent, I love being mom! I wouldn’t mind a couple more and Lenny would love to have a couple more kids running around. Fingers crossed.

WRE: What is your favorite part about working out at Barry’s Bootcamp?
LH: Everything! Working out with a motivating group and instructors is super energizing. After taking a class, my entire day is set up for success.
WRE: Do you follow any special diet?
LH: Absolutely! I feel that what you eat is more than half the battle. Staying in good shape isn’t only about exercising but most importantly about how you eat. Throughout the week I eat pretty clean, a lot of veggies, fiber, lean protein, low carb, and low sugar.
WRE: What is your go-to smoothie or snack from the Fuel Bar?
LH: I am obsessed with the Skinny B*tch shake. I even order it ahead of time before class, so when I get out the shake is waiting for me. It’s the perfect refuel after a hard workout.

WRE: Who is your favorite instructor?
