FIU’s Frost Art Museum Honors Michael Spring: Art Transforms Benefactor Impact 2018 Award
Miami Beach, FL – October 27, 2018 – Museum Director, Dr. Jordana Pomeroy, welcomed a celebratory crowd to the third annual Art Transforms Benefactor Impact Award event honoring Michael Spring, the Director of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. The event also marked the 10th anniversary of the museum’s building. Revelers strolled the galleries and participated in the inaugural Adopt an Artwork program. By adopting an artwork featured in Connectivity: Selections from the Collection of the Frost Art Museum, guests supported the museum’s greatest needs: exhibitions, programming, and preservation of the permanent collection. The event’s Host Committee included: Matt Anderson, Dr. Oscar Belloso, Lisa Faquin, Muneca Fuentes, Cookie Gazitua, Andreina Kissane, Daniel Perron, Nirma Pina, Hortensia Soriano, and Lourdes Tudela.
