Miami, FL – April 26, 2018 – THE COLLECTION and Ferrari of Miami held a celebratory rally to the launch event of the all-new 2018 Ferrari Portofino. With two locations to better service their clients, guests had the opportunity to meet at THE COLLECTION or Ferrari of Miami to kick-off the celebration. Those who met at their headquarters in Coral Gables were escorted in a police-led caravan to Ferrari of Miami, where they enjoyed refreshments and discovered the new dealership. At 6:30 p.m., more than thirty Ferraris took over Biscayne Boulevard as they all departed in a caravan to the Rubell Family Collection for a private preview of the Ferrari Portofino hosted by Ferrari North America. Once they arrived at their final destination, guests waited anxiously for the reveal of the new Ferrari. The Ferrari Portofino is the most powerful convertible to combine the advantages of a retractable hard top, a roomy boot and generous cockpit space plus two rear seats suitable for short trips. The Ferrari Portofino’s all-new chassis features a significant weight saving over the California T it replaces. Thanks to the extensive use of modern production technologies, all the chassis and body-in-white components have been redesigned with a consequent reduction in weight despite an increase in torsional rigidity.
