Acria Brunch Celebration at Nautilus
Miami Beach, FL – December 8, 2017 – SIXTY Hotels hosted the Eighth Annual Art Basel Miami Brunch, benefiting the ACRIA Artists Ending AIDS Fund at GMHC and celebrating artists and designers who support both GMHC’s and ACRIA’s missions to envision a world without AIDS. This year’s brunch is presented in partnership with La Ligne, a new, New York-based women’s wear brand cornering the “stripe” market in women’s fashion. La Ligne generously provided seven renowned artists with their classic Dip-Tie Caftan to use as a canvas, creating one-of-a-kind, wearable artworks. All seven pieces will be available for purchase at the event to benefit the fund. Jason Pomeranc, Co-Founder and Creative Director of SIXTY Hotels has joined forces to support GMHC as it is the utmost importance for the brand to be thoughtful of working with organizations who collaborate with artists with a purpose. “SIXTY Hotels is very proud to support GMHC’s mission to provide help for people living with HIV and AIDS and the artists and creative communities using the lens of fine arts to raise awareness for the cause through the ACRIA Artists Ending AIDS Fund.” says Jason Pomeranc. “GMHC is thrilled to enter a new strategic partnership with ACRIA and the Artist Ending AIDS Fund,” says GMHC CEO Kelsey Louie. “We’re excited to work together to harness the artistic community’s creativity in support of GMHC’s life-saving programs and thank SIXTY Hotels and La Ligne for their support.”
