Miami Design District Performance Series Featuring Arturo Sandoval
Miami, FL – November 3, 2017 – The Miami Design District Performance Series welcomed famed musician Arturo Sandoval to the neighborhood’s Palm Court for a dynamic performance alongside students from the critically acclaimed Frost School of music directed by Steve Guerra. The Cuban-American artist, Arturo Sandoval, has defined himself as one of the world’s most acknowledged guardians of jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist, and composer. Additionally, Sandoval has claimed multiple GRAMMY and Billboard awards as well as an Emmy, the 2015 Hispanic Heritage Award and the highest honor of all, the 2013 Presidential Medal of Freedom. Presented by the Knight Foundation and produced by 19-time Grammy Award winning producer Emilio Estefan in collaboration with Maestro Eduardo Marturet (Miami Symphony Orchestra), the music series is offered at no cost and open to the public every Friday night.
