Baptist Health Foundation’s The Grand Gala Benefiting Miami Cancer Institute
Miami, FL – November 12, 2016 – Baptist Health Foundation’s The Grand Gala fundraiser was held on the soon-to-open campus of Miami Cancer Institute, raising $4.5 million in support of the project. The Grand Gala co-chairs Karel Foti, Lourdes Jofre-Collett and Leonard Kalman, M.D., along with a 17-member committee, created a special evening for more than 900 attendees, including Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Darlene and Jorge Perez and Trish and Dan Bell, to experience an elegant reception, dinner and dancing, and a silent auction featuring exceptional items and rare travel experiences. The exquisite cuisine and décor was created by La Basque. Celebrated singer-songwriter and musician Matt Goss, on the heels of a longtime weekly residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, dazzled the crowd with a lively performance.
