Miami, FL – October 19, 2016 – A Kickoff Reception for Vizcaya’s Centennial Gala, hosted by Christy and David Martin, was held at Eighty Seven Park on Miami Beach. Approximately 75 guests attended the cocktail reception including Vizcaya Centennial Co-Chairs, Barbara and Jose Hevia, Cathy L Jones, Christy and David Martin and Gala Committee Members Sonia Gibson, Linda Levy Goldberg, Gladys Rustan Hernando, James W Murphy and Vizcaya Executive Director Joel M. Hoffman. The Vizcaya Centennial Gala will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 and is  kicking off a year of festivities celebrating Vizcaya’s 100 years. This fundraising event supports the preservation and protection of the estate.
