Fleur Du Mal Tropical Disco Hustle at EAST, Miami Presented by The Coveteur & Russian Standard
Miami, FL – July 15, 2016 – EAST, Miami welcomed Fleur du Mal to celebrate Miami Fashion Swim and their 2017 Collection. Taking inspiration from the album cover of Tropical Disco Hustle, a compilation of Caribbean soul music from the 70s and 80s, Fleur du Mal’s Resort 2017 collection emanates the bold decadence of the disco era culture. Custom tropical floral designs and vintage-inspired star prints unique to the brand lend playfulness juxtaposed with the rich palette of metallic, orchid, seafoam, army and fox – the latter being a blushy neutral. This season focuses on swim introducing new silhouettes including bandeau and one-shoulder one-pieces as well as cross-front and U-strap bikinis in luxurious Italian fabrics with sexy subtleties such as French leavers lace, light mesh detailing and black and white color blocking of stripes and solids. The evening was presented by The Coveteur and Russian Standard Vodka. Over 100 top fashion industry professionals, tastemakers and VIP Media were in attendance enjoying delicious bites courtesy of EAST, Miami’s Sugar Rooftop Garden and Bar, incredible speciality cocktails from Russian Standard and Gancia Prosecco, as well as tropical disco hustle inspired sounds from Santiago Vidal and famed celebrity DJ Mia Moretti.
