MISO’s 3rd Annual Big Hats & Bow Ties Brunch at Cipriani
Miami, FL – May 21, 2016 – Co-chairs Criselda Breene, Michelle Areces, Sam Robin, Sarah Colombo and Iran Issa-Khan celebrated for the third consecutive year the unforgettable Brunch “The Big Hats & Bow Ties”, fundraiser for the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO). Held at Cipriani, Miami’s philanthropic crowd joined together donning wonderful and original hats, ties and bow ties and shared a day full of music, extraordinary food, fun and friends in the best spirit. Two bands represented the Miami Symphony Orchestra, including Ensemble 7/4 group who came as a surprise from Venezuela to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, who is considered one of the most famous and hip international conductors residing now in Miami.
Miami Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Marturet, opens its 2016-2017 season on October 23rd with a fascinating and captivating opening with works by Ravel, the world premiere of Di Council, and Rimsky-Korsakov at the grand Arsht Center.
