Lionheart Capital & Whitewall Celebrate Amar’e Stoudemire’s “In the Paint Series” at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach
Miami Beach, FL – April 6, 2016 – In celebration of “In the Paint Series,” renowned Miami-based global real-estate development and capital investment firm, Lionheart Capital along with WhiteWall, independent art and luxury lifestyle magazine, hosted an exclusive evening of art benefiting The Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation, in conjunction with Miami raised and now New York based artist Daniel Arsham. Held at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach. The celebration also featured an interactive art installation by multimedia artist and sculptor Tatiana Blanco. The Amar’e and Alexis Stoudemire Foundation improves the lives of at-risk youth through education opportunities. NBA All-Star and current Miami Heat star Amar’e Stoudemire is a well-respected professional basketball player who has not only left his mark on the game, but also on the community through his outreach.
Michael Klug, founder of Whitewall, welcomed over 150 guests and introduced the audience to the premium contemporary art and luxury lifestyle magazine. Artist Daniel Arsham highlighted Stoudemire’s “In the Paint Series” and announced a special upcoming collaborative project which would be benefiting the Foundation. Amar’e Stoudemire discussed the Foundation’s objective to provide needed resources for students, high school travel teams, basketball tournaments and projects abroad and his love for the arts. Stoudemire presented a basketball signed by the Miami HEAT team to Lionheart Capital’s CEO and Founding Partner, Ophir Sternberg in appreciation of his support. The Residences’ Vice President of Sales, George Mato applauded the hard work of those involved in the night’s event, and also welcomed Miami-based artist Tatiana Blanco who played an important role in The Residence’s on-site art studio. Toasting the night off, Mato closed, noting that upon completion, the property will have the first art studio in the world for a residential development and the first one by Piero Lissoni, the iconic Italian architect and designer.
