Lacoste Private Suite & Spot The Croc at the Miami Open 2016
Miami, FL – March 25 – April 3, 2016 – As the official outfitter of the 2016 Miami Open presented by Itaú, Lacoste celebrated the two week long tournament with a variety of activities and entertainment. The Lacoste Boutique, located within a branded tent on the grounds of the Miami Open, gave tournament guests a place to shop the co-branded Miami Open collection as well as Lacoste’s Spring/Summer 2016 Sport collection. Throughout the duration of the tournament, Lacoste players made special appearances at the on-site boutique for autograph signings and photo opportunities. Attendees also had the opportunity to receive a seat upgrade with “Spot the Croc.” Throughout the duration of the Miami Open, Lacoste brand ambassadors searched the higher level stands for enthusiastic guests enjoying the tournament and/or sporting Lacoste clothing and those selected were led by a Lacoste brand ambassador to their new upgraded seats and were even featured on the stadium screens. In between matches, guests checked out the #BeautifulTennis Wall. The #BeautifulTennis hashtag was created by Lacoste as a way for people to express how sports (notably tennis) helped them create beautiful moments throughout their lives. Lacoste, with the help of tournament-goers, created a live-art installation by giving visitors the opportunity to write a life lesson they have learned from sports directly onto a tennis ball. The tennis balls were then arranged into the custom wall, creating an interactive and ever changing art installation. Last but not least, Guests cooled down at the Lacoste private suite, which gave visitors a stylish yet comfortable spot to watch the matches, while sipping wine and nibbling on delicious cuisine.
