One&Only Resorts Presents Croquetas & Champagne Hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten at Miami Design District
Miami, FL – February 27, 2016 – Miami’s burgeoning Design District was home to a new event as part of the 15th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE. One&Only Resorts presented Croquetas & Champagne hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten drew 600 guests to this walk-around tasting, featuring seemingly endless versions of the classic croqueta and flowing Champagne Henriot in the chic Palm Court of Paradise Plaza. Top honors went to Jonathan Andrade of Islas Canarias Restaurant for their crab mac-n-cheese mini croquetas, which took home the People’s Choice Award that evening. All proceeds from the Festival benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.
