Miami Beach, FL – December 4, 2015 – The Wolfsonian celebrated Art Basel Week in style with a chic, exclusive Art Basel Miami Beach party thrown by Vanity Fair. Guests enjoyed musical performances curated by National Sawdust Curators, cocktails by Bombay Sapphire Gin and Corzo Tequila, and a bevy of glamorous pop-up installations and activations throughout The Wolf’s historic building, including an immersive Sound of Luxury experience featuring the all-new 2016 Lincoln MKX with Revel audio system; wall vinyl presentations of historic Vanity Fair covers from decades past; a sneak-peek installation by Terra Group of the designs for Renzo Piano’s luxurious Eighty Seven Park, coming soon to Miami Beach; and Movado’s latest designs on display beside the museum’s shop and café. Attendees were also able to explore The Wolfsonian’s winter/spring major exhibitions, Margin of Error—investigating engineered disasters of the modern age—and Philodendron: From Pan-Latin Exotic to American Modern, charting the cultural influence of tropical plants on design, fashion, art, architecture, and more, anchored by a temporary jungle of live philodendron species on view in The Wolf’s lobby.
