Q&A: Nicky Hilton – 365 Style

Miami Beach, FL – November 6, 2014 – One of the biggest struggles many girls face on a daily basis is picking out the perfect outfit. The process can cause us to show up late for work, dates, school and can sometimes leave us with a pile of clothes waiting for our arrival when we return. Thankfully with Nicky Hilton’s killer fashion sense and the right eye, this problem can finally been eliminated. The fashionista, along with the help some friends, have come up with a solid system for us to follow, that will make getting that ideal look together a bit easier with her latest book entitled, “365 Style.” In her tour around the country Nicky made her way to one of Miami’s trendiest spots, The Webster, to meet with fans and give some style seeking knowledge.

During her visit here in Miami we got the opportunity to chat with Nicky and discuss more about her style personally, as well as her trending new style guide.

WRE: How does your 365 formula work and how you came up with such a concept?

NH: I found that most women have 3 occasions they dress for in life depending on their lifestyle. The 6 represents the clothing staples you should focus on each season. The 5 is the accessories. If you stick to this 3-6-5 method you will have a closet full of must-haves!

WRE: Where do you go for fashion inspiration?

NH: Whenever I’m traveling I love seeing what the girls on the street are wearing. I prefer street style to red carpet, it’s more authentic. Some of my favorite cities to style watch are NY, London and Paris.

WRE: What’s your favorite go to outfit for daytime? For night?

NH: For daytime I love throwing on skinny jeans, ballet flats and a plain t. If I want to be dressier I’ll top it with a blazer. For evening I love leather pants and a top, or a floral dress and leather jacket.

WRE: What’s your favorite item in your closet?

NH: My coat closet. I collect them.

WRE: You never leave home without?

NH: A fabulous purse.

WRE: Favorite fashion city and why?

NH: Paris. The people are so effortlessly chic.

WRE: Best fashion advice you’ve ever been given and from whom?

NH: My mother always says ‘less is more.’

WRE: Where are some of your favorite places to go around town while your visiting here in Miami?

NH: I love The Webster. They carry all of my favorite brands under one roof. For restaurants I love Mr Chow and Prime 112. It’s always fun to check out the art in Wynwood too.

NH: Great sundresses and wedges.

WRE: If you could describe your style as a landscape what would it be?

NH: NYC- the ultimate eclectic melting pot.
