Miami Beach, FL – September 19 – 21, 2014 – Ok, ok so this week has been kind of torturous, but look on the bright side, it can only go up from here. After a long week of dealing with endless demands and responsibilities, it’s finally time to put all that energy into something more fulfilling, like the weekend. There’s a ton of fun stuff going on around town and we want to make sure you don’t miss out so we’ve put together a few highlights that are sure to turn that frown upside down.

Miami Spice at Ortanique on the Mile

In a town full of swanky, high-end restaurants it can be hard to find a place with good eats that also comes at an affordable price. Fortunately Miami Spice is back again and ready to help satisfy any cravings you may have. This mouth-watering restaurant promotion, going on until September 30, showcases the very best of Miami cuisine. One of our favorite dining spots, Ortanique on the Mile, is a participant this year and is offering a menu that is sure to excite your taste buds, as well as your wallet. For the sweet price of $39, you can enjoy a three-course, over-the-top dinner with an array of options from their Caribbean-inspired menu. So grab some friends and add some zest to your weekend by indulging in an unforgettable meal.

Ball & Chain Opening Weekend

Amidst Little Havana’s bustling cuban coffee counters, cigar shops and the iconic Domino Park lies a little piece of what once was forgotten history. It has been almost 60 years since the original Ball & Chain opened its doors, and after many years of being vacant it is finally back and better than ever. The Calle Ocho landmark which once attracted the likes of jazz legends such as Billie Holiday and Chet Baker, is bound to become your new favorite hangout spot. Expect a variety of incredible (and affordable) libations, sweet sounds from a live band and an endless amount of good vibes. Try something new this weekend, we promise Ball & Chain will not disappoint!
