Miami Beach, FL – August 26, 2014 – Following an incredible and memorable 11 years as co-host to South Florida’s number one entertainment news show, Deco Drive, it is finally time for Louis Aguirre to say “goodbye” to Miami and “hello” to Hollywood. Although we are sad to see him go, we are proud to say that he is taking his talents to one of the most nationally recognized entertainment programs, The Insider. Whether it’s watching him report the latest entertainment news on WSVN or catching him out and about at countless events and charity functions, Emmy-award winning Aguirre has certainly left a mark on just about everyone in this town. Serving on the Executive Friends Committee for New World Symphony, as well as a board member of the Miami Theater Center and a part of the Young Collector’s Council for the Perez Art Museum Miami, his commitment to this city has made him a true force to be reckoned with, so it’s no wonder The Insider wanted to snag him up. If you’re eager to keep up with the anchor extraordinaire, tune into The Insider beginning September 9th and watch him make us proud. To send Aguirre off with a proper farewell, we’ve put together some of our fondest memories of him in true World Red Eye fashion.
