Basel, Switzerland – June 16, 2014 – After toasting to a fabulous kick off for Design Miami/ Basel 2014 at the world renowned Art Basel fair everyone seemed more than ready to dive into what the fete had in store. Exclusively for collectors only, Monday morning started off with the Design Miami/ Basel opening preview. This gave collectors the opportunity to check out all of the curated exhibits and browse around before they were showcased to the public. Following an exciting day for collectors, select VIP guests were invited to a special invite-only Vernissage. Here galleries opened to collectors and gallerists for the opportunity to preview the famed art bazaar. Some notables seen mingling around include Nadja Swarovski, Craig Robins, as well as artists’ Fredrikson Stallard, Eske Rex and Anton Alvarez. Over 4,000 exhibitors come from around 300 leading galleries across the world to showcase an array of works and talent, to say this week is just getting started would be an understatement.
