Austin, TX – March 7, 2014 – HBO fans flooded in to celebrate the launch party of the Game of Thrones: The Exhibition, the second annual traveling exhibit in honor of the upcoming fourth season of the hit Emmy Award winning HBO drama Game of Thrones which premieres Sunday, April 6th. The event also featured a special performance by hip hop artist Common, one of the featured artists from Catch the Throne: The Mix Tape, the hip-hop and reggaeton 10-song mixtape inspired by themes and storylines from Game of Thrones. The exhibition was specifically created to bring the enchanted world of Westeros and its characters directly to fans. The international touring exhibit offers a fresh perspective on the show, focusing on key places, characters and relationships from the series and features installations, showcasing a collection of nearly 100 original artifacts from pivotal scenes in seasons 1, 2 and 3, plus select pieces from the much anticipated fourth season. Members of the Game of Thrones cast that came out to peep the amazing exhibit include: Maisie Williams, Kristian Nairn, and Gwendoline Christie.
