Doral, FL – March 8, 2014 – On Saturday evening Gym Class Heroes frontman and solo star, Travie McCoy, headlined a live concert at Trump National Doral for the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship. The performance capped off a nearly week long series of lifestyle centric events added to the schedule for the 2014 tournament. Set outside at the Blue Monster Performance Village just off the legendary and newly renovated Blue Monster golf course, concert-goers enjoyed a performance from the platinum recording artist that included hit songs such as Billionaire (featuring Bruno Mars) from McCoy’s debut solo album, LAZARUS, and Rough Water, the first single off his new record scheduled for release this summer. Emin, the international recording artist kicked off the show with his dance-pop beats as the sun set over the resort and the third day of tournament play concluded. Miami’s Y100 DJ, Mack on the Radio took things up a notch with a mix of top hits just before McCoy took the stage. Spectators sang along and danced in the crowds while they enjoyed Grey Goose Vodka and champagne from Moët & Chandon. Producer/rapper Timbaland also came out to catch the concert and spent time chatting with both Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump. PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler, Harris English, and Jonas Blixt – in town to compete in the Cadillac Championship – took a break from play prep to enjoy the performances as well.
