Miami Beach, FL – January 28, 2014 – It was an evening of commemorating Miami’s incredible philanthropic community as The Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program hosted an Honoree Dinner on Tuesday evening at the brand new Cavalli Restaurant in Miami Beach. Founder & President, Jennifer Valoppi, Co-Founder & Vice President, Don Browne, Co-Vice President, the Honorable Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Philanthropic & Gala Chair, Marisa Toccin Lucas, welcomed close to 100 Women of Tomorrow supporters as they formally announced the 2014 Gala Honorees and raised funds for the organization. This year’s honorees are Honorary Chairmen Wayne & Cynthia Boich; Legacy Builder Honorees, Bruce & Tracey Berkowitz, The Fairholme Foundation; Leadership Award Honoree, Edie Lutnick; Champion Award Honoree, Miami HEAT; Excellence Honorees, Tara Solomon & Nick D’Annunzio, Tara Ink; and Mentor of the Year, Robbin Newman.

The Women of Tomorrow Annual Gala is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the exclusive Mandarin Oriental hotel in Brickell Key, Miami. The event will host close to 500 of South Florida’s most prominent philanthropists, as well as city officials and celebrities. The black tie affair will raise funds to support Women of Tomorrow’s mentoring sessions, career-focused field trips, specialized college campus visits and scholarship awards all aimed to enable at-risk girls to reach their full potential.
