Miami, FL – February 5, 2014 – Following his official announcement that he will be bringing Major League Soccer to Miami, David Beckham visited Kendall Soccer Park to meet and greet fans and young soccer players. Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez joined Beckham as the enthusiastic crowd celebrated Beckham’s arrival. Beckham is currently in negotiations with the County to lease County-owned land for an MLS soccer stadium and South Florida soccer fans could not be more thrilled that he has chosen Miami for this venture.
