Cavalli Miami Restaurant & Lounge
Miami Beach, FL – February 28, 2014 – Roberto Cavalli, the legendary Italian fashion designer, has officially opened Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge in Miami Beach. Presenting a unique ‘entertainment and nightlife’ concept located in the heart of Ocean Drive, the restaurant and lounge has been slated to be the newest ‘go-to’ destination for celebrities, socialites and the who’s who of Miami. With the exotic residents that make up this city, it only seemed natural that the destination for the first US Cavalli Restaurant and Lounge would be located in this tropical paradise. What sets Cavalli apart from other restaurants in the South Beach area is its uniqueness. There is no other restaurant/lounge around that has been designed by such a recognized, international fashion force. Beyond that, it’s a one-stop dining and entertainment destination where guests come from all over the world to enjoy an incredible selection of food and wine, as well as an evening of fun, with beautiful sophisticated people. It is truly an experience that stimulates all senses.
From innovative food, signature fashion and a sultry nightlife experience, Cavalli has all that it takes to thrive in South Beach.
The two story Art Déco villa, which was designed by Cavalli and his team from Italy, presents the three main world renowned beacons of ‘Made in Italy’ excellence: Fashion – Food – Design across a total surface of 550 square meters. The décor was chosen to convey luxury and creativity: each and every area of the space was completed with precious and exciting shapes and geometric elements. The chairs are covered in zebra and leopard animal print fabrics and the tables are enveloped in tablecloths featuring 8 different floral-themed Cavalli prints. The mise en place, the pillows, the wallpapers and the floors all come from the Roberto Cavalli Home collection.
The bottom floor features an intimate restaurant where glamour and innovation are merged in the décor and in the details to create a unique atmosphere that allows customers to take in the ‘total experience’ of pure Cavalli style. Roberto Cavalli was adamant that guests would feel and enjoy the same welcoming reception that he would reserve to his own family and friends. The ambiance gives off a vibe as that of a luxurious Mediterranean villa.
The menu, created by Executive Chef Stefano Mazzi, offers an incredible selection of traditional Italian recipes infused with Tuscan influences, as well as innovative ‘new style’ dishes. Everything is fresh, house made to order with all the finest ingredients flown in directly from Italy. Some must-try dishes suggested by the chef himself include the Tuscan Chianina beef tartare with quail egg and a light mustard and truffle salt, the sea bass, as well as the risotto Portofino with light curry and grilled Sicilian prawns, which was actually inspired by a dish they serve at a very popular restaurant on the island of Portofino. Mazzi is consistently creating new dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
When finished with their dining experience, visitors can head upstairs to the sexy modern ‘lounge room’ that embodies the glamorous soul of the designer. The lounge gives off a cool, club-like vibe where patrons are able to dance the night away. The bar features delicious handcrafted cocktails including ‘Endless Summer’, ‘Tre Eccelenze’, and ‘Purple Glamour’ all created with Cavalli’s signature vodka.
A refined music selection with the best musical artists in the business plays throughout the space to help perfect the overall setting. The lounge was also designed to be a place where guests can host exclusive and fashionable parties and events. With the total experience in mind, we can definitely expect Cavalli to play host to some exciting major fashion and lifestyle events throughout the year.

Nicola SiervoAll other projects we have done have a distinctive separation between restaurant and lounge. Cavalli somewhat blends the two.
