Miami Beach, FL – December 7, 2013 – Global Fund Investments in collaboration with Majestic Properties and Florida Mining Gallery hosted the North of Modern Closing Party during Art Basel. Guests took in the artful affair which celebrated the work of Florida Mining Gallery, a contemporary art space in Jacksonville, as DJ Sub Zero cranked out beats that set the backdrop. The 20 featured works of North of Modern were housed in and around six renovated buildings in Little Haiti. Of these works, guests found mediums like paintings, sculpture, video projections, pulp-up shops. vegan fashions and performance art. To celebrate the close of the event, works by Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Jeff Whipple, and Liz Gibson filled the space.
