Miami Beach, FL – December 5 – 7, 2013 – FDR switched things up during Art Basel week and had notorious NYC nightclub, 1 Oak, take over creating a fresh pop-up bar for Miami party goers to enjoy. 1 Oak is known for bringing in the worldliest of partygoers and Basel week was no exception. Raphael Mazzucco chose this pop-up to host his official exhibition after-party and each night brought in a slew of different surprises and entertainers.

The first night of the pop-up Wu-Tang members Ghostface Killah & Raekwon had party goers wanting to C.R.E.A.M. as they gave a killer impromptu performance. Theophilus London was also in attendance and even spent some time gracing the crowd with his distinct tune. The second night of the pop-up extravaganza, Sinatra wowed the basel goers with his high energy set having everyone mesmerized by his sounds as nobody left until the sun came up. The third and final night of the 1 Oak Pop-up, Russell Simmons came out to enjoy the Miami nightlife and let loose on the dance floor to beats by Brooklyn native DJ Sal Morale. To say this pop-up was a success is an understatement and certainly was a nightlife hot spot during Art Basel week.
