Nicky Romero at LIV on October 25, 2012

Miami Beach, FL – October 24, 2013 – So you didn’t get tickets to Arcade Fire. Nbd. They sold out in five minutes, so you’re definitely not alone. There are still a ton of cool things for you to do this weekend, including Halloween shenanigans, old school rock, an art race and more. Come Monday you won’t even remember there was a concert after all this goodness.

Nicky Romero at LIV

Clear your schedule for tonight, October 24, when Nicky Romero hits the decks at LIV. The Dutch DJ   was named an EDM artist to watch in 2012 by MTV and we’ve be watching—and listening—ever since. Currently coming in as number 7 on DJ Magazine’s top 100 DJs annual fan poll, we think it will be a show to remember, especially if he plays “Metropolis” and “I Could Be the One.”

Back in Black at Mansion

Hitting its fourth year, Back in Black returns. This Saturday, October 26, the adult costumed-themed party lands at Mansion for a night of music and Halloween magic. Coming through the speakers, hear the work of duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, as well as David Tort and Wolf Pack for a night of auricle debauchery. Prepare to look even more scantily clad than usual by dressing in your most creative, exotic, sexy costume. Guys, prepare to gawk. You know how the girls of South Beach like to dress for Halloween.

Smash & Grab at Locust Projects

It puts the fun in fundraiser. The annual art race at Locust Projects guarantees participants a piece of art, but they won’t get to pick their piece until their name is called. Talk about nail-biting fun. Once their names are drawn, the race is on to claim their favorite piece. Participants will be vying for works by Justin Beal, Emmett Moore, Tracy Goodman, Felice Grodin, Sinisa Kukec and Typoe, with more than 120 pieces total. Secure your ticket to watch the madness or participate in the fun Saturday at http://www.locustprojects.org/events/event/smash-and-grab-fundraiser/ On your mark, get set, go.

Alice Cooper at Hard Rock

On Sunday, October 27, the Godfather of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper, hits the stage at Hard Rock Live with his band of off-the-beaten-path props, (think bats, blood, guillotines, electric chairs and other creepy regalia) for a night of music and mayhem. Expect to hear “I’m Eighteen” and “School’s Out” as you watch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee do what he’s been doing since the ’70s. Rock on.
