Miami Beach, FL – March 11, 2013 – It is literally only a matter of four days before the first weekend of Ultra Music Festival 2013 gets underway. It’s bigger and better than ever before this year because for the first time in its 15 year existence, Ultra will be the world’s first ever electronic music festival spanning two weekends. The occasion also marks Ultra’s 15 year anniversary, which is just more reason for celebration. It’s expected that a record-setting number of over 330,000 people of all ages will attend UMF this year from over 80 countries around the world.

The first of the two huge, epic weekends in electronic dance music starts this Friday for seven full hours of the best dance and electronic music. Heavyweight headliners at UMF this year include Swedish House Mafia as they end their One Last Tour together and Deadmau5, who’s making a come back since his brief hiatus. Last year had one of the biggest surprises of 2012 as Madonna made a surprise appearance for Saturday’s closing set with Avicii. Who knows what kinds of craziness will go down this year, but you can count on World Red Eye for all the coverage since we’ve been the house photographer for UMF since the year it all started.
