Miami Beach, FL – December 11, 2012 –  Now that Art Basel Miami Beach has come to a close, we reflect back on the visionaries we met, fantastic works of art we viewed and the countless events we documented. And of the innumerable highlights from last week’s whirlwind lineup, we are also celebrating one particular fair—Design Miami/.

Bringing together both esteemed and emerging designers, curators, galleries and collectors, the 2012 installment of Design Miami/ served as a central hub for like-minded individuals in the art community. Kanye West and Terry Richardson looked on as Pharrell Williams held a discussion with the fair’s Principal, Craig Robins, while Martha Stewart, Will Ferrell, Chelsea Handler and other Hollywood names made their way through the galleries. And that’s just the half of it.

The activations curated at Design Miami/—from Design Talks to Design Satellites and Performances—garnered the attention of individuals across demographics and served as a platform for social chatter. With a penchant for visually reminding our visitors what makes Miami particularly special, here’s a recap of Design Miami/ 2012.
