Miami Beach, FL – August 30, 2012 – Over 300 guests came out to see MIAMI Magazine and Verizon announce the winner of the “$4G for Charity” campaign at a packed finale party at FDR at Delano. Stacey Glassman Mizener for New World Symphony, DJ Irie for Irie Foundation, Chef Kenny Gilbert for Best Buddies, and KC Jones for the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame battled it out for weeks prior to the event garnering votes through their social media channels. In the end, DJ Irie came out on top, receiving $4,000 for his charity. Guests of the event celebrated with specialty cocktails provided by Belvedere vodka, bites from Bianca, exclusive giveaways from Verizon, and beats from one of Miami’s hottest DJ’s, DJ Vertigo.
