Eugene Sayfie

Miami, FL – May 3, 2012 – University of Miami President Donna E. Shalala and UM Miller School of Medicine Dean Pascal J. Goldschmidt, M.D., hosted the grand opening of the Eugene J. Sayfie, M.D., Pavilion for Excellence in Patient Care, and bestowed upon Dr. Sayfie the University’s inaugural Distinguished Master Clinician Award. The festivities and ceremony were held at the new pavilion in the Professional Arts Building on the Miller School Campus.

The grand opening of the Eugene J. Sayfie, M.D., Pavilion for Excellence in Patient Care and the presentation of the Distinguished Master Clinician Award to Dr. Sayfie mark the culmination of a vision for personalized patient care. This patient-first level of care is one that Dr. Sayfie has put into practice throughout a distinguished medical career. Dr. Sayfie, associate professor of clinical medicine in the Cardiovascular Division, is the Medical Director of the UM Executive Health Program at the Miller School.
