Tony Goldman at the Bal Harbour Chat Series at Neiman Marcus

Miami, FL – November 3, 2011 – Featuring chats with artistic visionaries and installations from the hottest names in the art world set alongside high fashion collections at the iconic Bal Harbour Shops, this year’s second-annual Bal Harbour Art Nights innovatively fuses art and fashion. These special evenings provide a unique platform to celebrate the remarkable artists and thought leaders that have fueled the evolution of the arts in South Florida.

Headlining the first installment of the Bal Harbour Chat Series was Tony Goldman, a legendary Miami developer and visionary, known for transforming declining historical districts into thriving, global destinations. This chat, entitled, “Miami: A Cultural Chronicle with Tony Goldman,” was lead by Nina Johnson-Milewski, Owner, Founder and Director of Gallery Diet.

Also at Bal Harbour for Art Nights: 100% Capri featured Miami-based artist Michael Genovese, benefiting MAM (Miami Art Museum), Elie Tahari featured a Renato Freitas exhibition, Books & Books celebrated artist Sheila Elias and her dynamic collection with the book Somewhere-Anywhere, St. Regis Lounge presented  Alejandro Vigilante and Arno Elias in conjunction with Avant Gallery, Brunello Cuccinelli hosted the launch of Bal Harbour Fall Magazine, Calypso presented designer Elissa Miller- Personal Appearance and Exhibit, Opera Gallery presented Virginia Fifield and Mr. Brainwash, and the launch of the LA based Guy Hepner Gallery at Bal Harbour Shops.

During the 2011-2012 season, Bal Harbour Village, Bal Harbour Shops, The St. Regis Bal Harbour and Art Nexus will host four collector-worthy evenings, which begin on November 3 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bal Harbour Shops, many of which will be making donations to their charity of choice.  Future Art Nights are scheduled for January 11, February 8 and March 29.
