Miami, FL – September 22, 2011 –Patricia Anton Himmel and Patricia Kronfle hosted a cocktail to fête the unveiling of their new home and décor boutique VIOLETAS, located on the historic Miracle Mile.

In honor of the grand opening, Mayor Jim Cason and Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Mark Trowbridge presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony and presented the Coral Gables seal to the mother-daughter duo. “We were overwhelmed by the positive response we’ve received from the Coral Gables community and the tremendous outpouring of support at our grand opening celebration,” expressed owner Patricia Anton Himmel.

Friends, family and fans including Briggs Solomon, Hilda Morello, Marlene Pernetti, Nadine Borgomanero and Yoli de Uribe packed the boutique in support of its debut.. Guests enjoyed an evening of shopping, featuring exclusive lines and curiosities collected from around the world, while indulging on decadent cocktails and scrumptious hor d’ouvres. A portion of the evening proceeds benefitted IKF Wonderfund – a program of The Jackson Memorial Foundation.

The 2,000 square foot boutique features a very elegant, rustic and inviting interior, with a unique combination of raw contrasting details. The use of ghost wood paneling found on the walls and floors creates a neutral backdrop, complemented with vibrant finishes, bold textiles and accessories.
