50 Cent & Mario Van Peebles

Miami Beach, FL – March 5, 2011 – Right before the “Things Fall Apart” movie premier at the Miami International Film Festival, 50 Cent along with Mario Van Peebles, Chris Lighty, and Randall Emmett all hosted a private dinner at Scarpetta at the Fontainebleau. In the film, 50 Cent plays a football player who is diagnosed with cancer. In order to show the effects cancer has on the body, 50 lost over 50 pounds for the role. The film was directed by Peebles and also stars Ray Liotta.
