Miami Beach, FL – February 18, 2011 – When I think of Miami beach, and my years of shooting this crazy city, there is one name that is present in almost every single memory. Shareef Malnik embodies everything that is special, exciting, sexy, luxurious, cool, hip, fun, & unique about Miami. The legendary The Forge has survived decades of the “next best thing” that Miami is so famous for and is a place where people go not only for the amazing food and 5 star service – but to visit Shareef and pay homage to the man who is a true Miami legend. Shooting celebrities, dignitaries, & politicians at The Forge has been easy for the last decade as it is THE place to eat when visiting Miami. From Michael Jackson to Michael Jordan, & everyone in between, the Forge and Shareef have hosted the biggest names in the world. You can feel the history when you walk through its doors and always know that youre in for something amazing when dining there. Although The Forge was recently redone, it still screams of the old Miami beach rat pack glamour era, and Shareef is the one host who has kept the level of taste and class on par with the service and the food. I have not only had the pleasure of working with Shareef and his Forge staff over the past 10 years, but have had the true honor of becoming his friend. Whether it’s a reservation, a birthday party, or just some friendly advice, Shareef has always been there for me and I hope to always do the same for him. Have a happy birthday – you are a timeless classic and a true Miami beach living legend !!!!
