Miami, FL – December 2, 2010 – Taking place in the heart of Miami’s Design District during Art Basel 2010, FriendsWithYou collaborated with NERD to host Rainbow City Thursday night. NERD’s performance was beyond energetic; one daring guy even snuck on stage. After getting yanked off by security, Pharrell demanded he get back on stage over the mic by claiming “After all this is Rainbow City”. Along with other guests this kid had the night of his life, which is highly apparent when he’s caught flailing his body in between NERD and Pharrell in the video below. Not only did Nerd effortlessly fulfill the jam packed lawn of people with their musical vibes, creative aesthetics were also abound for guests to awe upon. Rainbow City unveiled some of the largest and most exciting site-specific installations offered for Art Basel goers as it was filled with a vibrant collection of mutable, air- filled sculptures.
