Next up, we spent the day with social media aficionado and co-founder of Aura Groupe, Yossi Bibas, who gave us a glimpse into Miami through his eyes behind the wheel of the 2017 Jaguar XE.
Staying in one place has never been something Israeli-born, Miami-raised Yossi Bibas has been very good at. So it’s no wonder that after a successful career in the world of media in Miami, he left it all behind to start Aura Groupe, a digital marketing agency specializing in social media. Based in the Magic City, being the boss of a digitally focused company has allowed him to pack up his laptop in his Louis and see the world. From Manhattan to Madrid, a Wifi connection has made it possible for this jet-setter to work with brands worldwide within the realms of fashion, hospitality, culinary, lifestyle and philanthropy. But even with his Catch Me If You Can mentality, the globetrotter always makes his way back to South Florida, the ultimate Staycation Destination.
WRE: What was your perception of Jaguar before you drove the XE?
YB: Definitely a chic luxury car, but built for an older demographic.
WRE: What was your perception of Jaguar after you drove the XE?
YB: Incredible. I fell in love with the XE. It’s impeccably designed, spacious, comfortable and powerful.

WRE: How would you describe the driving experience of the XE?
YB: Phenomenal. The Jaguar XE has everything I’d want in a car and beyond.
WRE: When and where were you happiest driving your XE?
YB: I was definitely happiest driving on I-95, where you can unleash the XE’s full power potential. It’s seriously fast.
WRE: Tell us about where you went with the XE?
YB: I drove everywhere around Miami – from Downtown/Brickell, to my office in South Beach, to visit my parents in Fort Lauderdale, and home in Design District.
WRE: What was your favorite destination?
YB: I’d have to say Brickell, the area is developing quite nicely.
WRE: What was the XE’s most memorable characteristic?
YB: Power. The XE is super swift.
WRE: The XE is packed with technology. What was your favorite tech feature?
YB: There are many great features, but my favorite had to be the laser Head-Up Display. It projects your speed and other essential information directly onto the windshield.
WRE: Describe your perfect day behind the wheel of a Jaguar XE?
YB: Open road, clear skies, light breeze and tropical house music blasting in the background.
WRE: What song do you identify with your XE?
YB: Ocean Drive by Duke Dumont.
WRE: Would you recommend a XE to your friends?
YB: Absolutely. Anyone who’s ever doubted Jaguar or perceived it to be an older generation car, think again.
WRE: Describe the Jaguar XE in one word.
YB: Powerful.
WRE: Tell us about how you first got your start in this industry.
YB: My first job out of college was with Modern Luxury MIAMI Magazine as a Sales and Marketing Assistant. I spent almost three years with the magazine, growing from assistant to marketing coordinator and later account executive. I learned a tremendous amount about the advertising industry with a focus on premium and luxury brands. It was there that I developed a passion for social media, launching and managing the magazine’s Instagram account.

WRE: Tell us about your latest venture, Aura Groupe?
YB: Aura Groupe is a full-service digital agency that I co-founded with my best friend and business partner, Megan Haddad. Our specialty is social media and we put a strong emphasis on creating unique and engaging visuals, strong social strategies, a distinct brand voice and clean aesthetics. Our client roster includes EAST, Miami Hotel, Brickell City Centre, Miansai, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, I Shine 365 and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach to name a few.
WRE: What are some goals you have for Aura Groupe?
YB: Our goal with Aura Groupe is to continue to produce fresh and engaging content, build an unstoppable team of creatives that drives results for our clients and exceeds their expectations, grow within the industry and always deliver services that we can proudly stand behind.
WRE: You have a large social media presence, how would you describe your aesthetic, especially in terms of Instagram?
YB: Minimal, clean, elevated. I love negative space. Quality over quantity is key.
WRE: Do you feel as if there are any downfalls from the rise of social media today?
YB: Social media isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I don’t necessarily think there are downfalls from the rise of social media if a brand acknowledges it and executes it correctly. We tirelessly consult and educate our clients with the best practices on all social platforms and believe that all brands should be on social media and recognize it as a significant aspect of their marketing and branding initiatives.
WRE: What other projects are you working on?
YB: Aura Groupe keeps my pretty occupied. But on my free time, I like to experiment with photography. I am self-taught, so I learn something new every day.
WRE: What is your favorite thing about Miami?
YB: It’s a metropolitan city with a tropical twist, what’s not to love?
WRE: What do you consider your greatest life achievement?
YB: Branching out on my own and building a business is my greatest achievement thus far. It’s a new learning experience every single day.
WRE: What is your life motto?
YB: Why not? You’ll only regret the things you never do.
