Born on a farm in Southeastern Ohio Spencer attended film school at Emerson college in Boston and then moved to Hollywood to work in the industry. Disenfranchised with Lala land he decided Miami was a much more wholesome place to make the home base. After a year of working for ESPN, infomercials, and various reality TV shows he settled in with the vagabond company Redeye. Its been three years and he hasnt had a good nights sleep since.

Born and raised all over Miami, he likes to refer to himself as the "hickspanic". Raised by a photographer, it was only natural that he would pick up a camera one day and start shooting. The click of the mechanical device brought him comfort and a chance to express himself with no constraints. He continued with his passion by obtaining a BFA in Photography from the University of Miami. Immediately after graduating in 2008 he became succumbed and intrigued by the Miami nightlife scene and began documenting this small but vibrant subculture. The images were posted on a blog somewhere in the interwebs and caught the attention of Red Eye Productions. He was green and had a lot of room to grow. So much that he ran off to Los Angeles on a whim where he spent the entire time trying to find a way back. Seth offered him a new position and he returned back to the city that made him. He now runs the Red Eye office and the newest of Seth's "man servants". "I'm constantly arriving, while always departing."

Since the beginning it's been about fun. About capturing people at their best. I wanted to tell the story about a moment in time that was unbelievable. I felt the energy and tried to illustrate it. I was moved by the excitement and fascinated with the feeling. The photographer became another character in the nightlife story. There was the red carpet, the celebrity, the nightclub, the people, the music, the fashion, the heat - it was Miami and it was always sexy. There was so much to see and so much to do. The club kids, the cocktail waitresses, the promoters, and the DJs - they all told the story. I became a part of the culture. Capturing it became my passion. I loved the stories, I thrived on the lifestyle. I enjoyed bringing people "behind the velvet rope" where the access enabled me to see things that others never will. It’s a life not known to many, a fairy tale at times, a tragedy at times, but always interesting. My camera was my paintbrush, south beach was my canvas. The people who have shared this with me all share my enthusiasm, creativity, and most importantly my vision. My team has become an extension of my vision and have enhanced what I see. They are my family. World Red Eye provides you, the viewer, with a place to see what we do, experience what we feel, and love what we capture. It is for emerging stars in all fields who want to be great and contribute to each others success. It is the world through my eyes. - Seth.

Greg Minasian was born in 1988 in Evanston Illinois. He moved down to Miami in 2006, and did some hard work at Florida International University. Before becoming Red Eye's most valuable player, he had never picked up a camera. He started working with Seth in 2009, shortly after that he broke his first camera...shortly after that he broke his second camera. The first time I met Buster, he was a VIP Host at Groove Jet and had just moved to South Beach two days before, and now co-owns one of the top 100 channels on YouTube called the A3 Network. He has done almost everything in Media from being a radio personailty for Party 93.1 & Y-100 to on air personailty for Deco Drive. You have seen him on the bar and definitely heard him on the mic in a club, from LIV to Mynt. His style is unique and his energy is matched only by his dancing skills. All this in the last 12 years...whats next?

Up-and-coming artists Matt Kennon and Lewis Copeland were also on the musical lineup for the Receptions for Research benefit. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, a nationally recognized leader in breast cancer care, education and research. “It’s a very important cause to me,” Olsen said. “It’s very close to my family. That’s why it’s a family-run organization. We work hard at it and we take a lot of pride in putting together events for people to have a good time. We also take pride in the fact that we’ve raised a large amount of money just having been around for a year. We hope everyone comes out. The money’s going for a good cause.” Greg’s wife Kara Olsen runs Campins Chicago, an extension of The Luxury Real Estate Boutique Company in South Beach and does a fantastic job. May 28, 2010 - USA Today is reporting that Dennis Hopper died today at his home in Venice from prostate cancer. The beloved actor was surrounded by family & friends when he passed. June 2, 2010 - To help cool you off in these hot summer days/nights we are featuring two specialty drinks from Sunset Lounge at Mondrian that we just shot as created by mixologist Angelo Vieira. Mondrian is launching "Crazy 8s" cocktails Thursday and Fridays from 6-9pm, as part of their new Happy Hour 8 dollar drinks. We will soon be featuring a specialty mixed drink by a renowned Mixologist weekly, as part of our Brain Trust.

Pisco Dusk Sour Gran Sierpe Peruvian Pisco shaken with fresh crushed blackberries & cardamom pods, hand squeezed lemon juice, a touch of honey and frothy egg white, garnished with 3 drops of Peychaud's bitters The classic Pisco Sour cocktail is still to this day debated by Chile and Peru of its true origin. I really don't care who invented it, all I know its a damn fine refreshing velvety drink and I predict its popularity will only keep on rising. One of my very favourite things to do with such classics is twist them and I added quiet a few but still maintained its original form. The marriage here with fresh fruity, tart black berries and fragrant, herb-like cardamon pods really enhance the Pisco notes itself. I chose honey instead of simple syrup to give the drink even more complexity for sweetness. Using fresh egg white as in the original binds all the ingredients and gives it a very smooth mouth feel. Everything is balanced off with fresh pressed lemon juice. I choose the peychauds bitters for its licorice, anise potency for garnish and it shines as well on the nose when you go in for a sip.

Sundown Sidecar Hennessey VSOP Cognac shaken with crushed Lychees, fresh squeezed lemon juice and a touch of ginger liqueur, garnished with a Hawaiian raw sugar rim Like many classic cocktail origins, the stories are always a little hazy and often have more than one tale behind them. But the recipe does resemble allot of the brandy crusta cocktail that predates the sidecar and most likely gave us all bartenders the idea to dip our glasses in juice or syrup and crust the rims with sugar, salt, pepper and what ever else you can think of. Going on with the theme here, I joined crushed fragrant leeches with ginger liqueur. The Cognac is very accepting of the ginger and the lychees give the drink length and hints of floral notes. Tragic Loss - Wallace Tutt

June 12, 2010 - It's hard to believe that just a month ago, Wallace Tutt helped Seth and I plan the Harbour Island wedding of our dreams. Wallace Tutt is one of the true south beach pioneers, renegades and legends. From the Versace Mansion, to Cher's house, to the Astor Hotel, Wallace left his legacy in some of the most recognizable design and architecture in our city. Similarly, in Harbour Island, he once again had a vision for a special place and made it his permanent residence almost a decade ago. Wallace not only moved to the Bahamas, he truly made it his home. He built an island paradise at the Rock House and invited the rest of the world to come enjoy the magic he felt on this small Bahamian island. He was just telling us his five year plan for more great development in Harbour Island and in his home state of Alabama. I am truly sad to hear of his passing and will never forget the special time he made possible for Seth and I and the mark he has left on our lives. The below photos are from the "Harbour Island" book launch at Bar 721, November 22, 2009.

Friends & strangers gathered around for the first Miami World Naked Bike Ride where they originally planned to ride naked, but waited until they made it to the finish line (South Pointe) to strip all clothing. It looks like a few participants didn't get the memo and wore full body outfits representing some of the aquatic life affected by the spill. Still, it was a good turnout for a great cause.

They will be launching a petition drive to place a marijuana decriminalization measure on the November city ballot. The Sensible Marijuana Policy Charter Amendment will empower police to issue a citation for a civil infraction rather than processing a misdemeanor arrest when they find an individual to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Miami Beach, FL - June 24, 2010 - The Bass Museum of Art opened it's HUMAN RITES exhibition last night to Miami's art enthusiasts. The show is the second in a three-part series that presents selections from the museum's Baroque & Renaissance collection coupled with contemporary works by Marina Abramovic, Ai Wei Wei & others. Great art & people watching was had with art world darlings such as Naomi Fisher & Jim Drain rubbing elbows with Rubell Collection curator Juan Roselione-Valadez. Check out the exhibition - the museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 12 - 5.

Miami Beach, FL - June 28, 2010 - 12 local Mixologists went head to head in Gran Sierpe Pisco's "Iron Chef" mixology competition at B Bar at The Betsy. Contestants were asked to create signature Gran Sierpe cocktails using one of two secret ingredients presented to them. These items included everything from ponzu sauce to chocolate bacon to garlic. Ultimately the four panelists, Gran Sierpe's owner, Herbie Loebl, owner of The Workshop, Jourdan Binder, and Gabe Orta and Elad Zvi of BarLab, deemed DJ of Mercadito's the winner of last night's Gran Sierpe's Iron Chef contest.

Miami Beach, FL – June 25-28, 2010 - The 6th Annual Irie Weekend was a HUGE success. It’s right about this time of the year that I’m reminded of why we put so much time, effort, energy and love into this event, for the smiles on our kids faces. Big Brother’s Big Sisters of Greater Miami as an organization really takes an active role in Irie Weekend by bringing out their Bigs & Littles to participate. The kids got to see many of their favorite stars from the sports, film and television industries. Some of our guests including Chris Bosh, Jason Taylor, Luke Wilson, Larry English, Wesley Jonathan, Joey Fatone and Brandon Marshall were especially big hits with the kids.

The Crown Royal Black lounge on Friday night really set the perfect tone for the weekend. Our guest sipped on Crown Royal Black cocktails while listening to the sultry sounds of DJ Sky Nellor and posed for pictures with the lovely Selita Ebanks. Later that night we took the party to another level at LIV nightclub for our kick-off celebration. WOW, what a night! Definitely one of the best kick-off parties to date! On Saturday we turned up the heat (literally) for our celebrity golf tournament at the Miami Beach Golf Course! It was an amazing day of golf all made extremely enjoyable with the help of our partners for the afternoon like Specialty Automotive Treatments, Corona, Miss Geico Racing, Glam Rock Watches, American Airlines, Adventura Limo, Bang Olufsen, Blackberry RIM/Telenav to name a few.
