America’s Moms for Soldiers

Miami, FL – July 27, 2012 – For the second year in a row, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and America’s Moms for Soldiers joined forces to send care packages to U.S. troops in Afghanistan who receive no or little mail from home.

The Adrienne Arsht Center’s staff has collected and donated countless amounts of supplies and, on Friday, July 27, employees spent the morning filling 100 boxes with personalized letters, hygiene products, snacks and more! Care packages are being shipped directly to soldiers in the Middle East. This charity event was one of the largest America’s Moms for Soldiers fundraisers in Miami-Dade County.
