No More Tears Fundraiser Celebration at Vista Rooftop
Miami, FL – July 10, 2019 – On Wednesday, July 10, approximately one hundred supporters of No More Tears gathered on the impeccable rooftop at Upper Buena Vista’s – Vista Rooftop for an inspiring soiree, in celebration of beloved NMT Board Member Cristina Scarano. Amidst a summer of showers, the skies cleared for a flawless evening of passed appetizers, Tito’s Vodka Specialty Cocktails and tunes by Vista resident DJ Edwin. Scarano decided this year she wanted to give back to Somy Ali’s No More Tears, stating “My passions are vast, however, I believe strongly in Somy’s work which includes saving victims of human and sex trafficking, domestic abuse and rape in all communities including LGBTQ. It is a massive problem. Dade is the third largest county in America for trafficking, and Somy never turns anyone down. Not them, not their pets.” So this year, Cristina asked her friend that in lieu of gifts, to give back. Guests included Ben and Giovanna Bush, Mia Romanik, Daniela Frewa, Daniel Novela, Andrea Angioli, Michael Block, Jorge and Amanda Meija, Garrett and Karoline Biondo and of course, the honorable Somy Ali.
