Miami, FL – June 1, 2019 – The Arsht Center hosted its third annual CommuniTea Dance to help kick off Pride Month and commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. The free, all-ages event was hosted by Ultimate Miami Drag Queen 2019 Karla Croqueta and special guest Miss Bryan of HITS 97.3 FM. Performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race All Star Shangela and local favorites Morphine Love, Petty Boop, and Sasha Lords left the audience feeling SHOOK! Music by artists such as DJ Hottpants, Phaxas, and The State Of set the tone for a high-energy night of celebrating South Florida’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
