Miami, FL – May 29, 2019 – Local elected officials, executives and philanthropists alike joined to offer a warm welcome to Baptist Health Foundation’s new Chief Executive Officer Alex Villoch, who most recently served as President and Publisher of the Miami Herald Media Company, and East Region Publisher overseeing seven newspaper media companies for McClatchy. “She is a uniquely talented executive and tireless advocate for the South Florida community,” said Joe Natoli, Baptist Health Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. “Alex is the perfect person to lead the Foundation as Baptist Health builds preeminent centers of excellence that provide outstanding and compassionate patient care and cutting-edge therapies to patients and their families.” In addition to the Foundation, Alex will oversee Government and Community Relations and Hospitality and Business Relations at Baptist Health South Florida.
