New World Symphony’s 31st Gala “A Celebration of John Williams” at New World Center

Miami Beach, FL – March 2, 2019 – New World Symphony presented its 31st Gala “A Celebration of John Williams,” honoring and featuring the famous composer’s iconic Hollywood films scores from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, E.T. and more. The performance was simultaneously screened via WALLCAST in Sounscape Park, inviting the local spectators to enjoy the show featuring special guest – violinist Itzhak Perlman – who joined John Williams to perform the theme from Schindler’s List, as well as special appearances by Star Wars characters including R2-D2. The event was chaired by Will Osborne and Karen Bechtel.
