An Evening with Paul J. Steinhardt at Frost Science
Miami, FL – January 22, 2019 – The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami’s Museum Park hosted a special evening with Paul J. Steinhardt, PhD., the award-winning physicist and Albert Einstein Professor in Science at Princeton University and author of The Second Kind of Impossible: The Extraordinary Quest for a New Form of Matter. The night began with a special members-only presentation in the Frost Planetarium which featured Steinhardt’s first-hand story of how he predicted a new type of matter – the quasicrystal – shattering centuries-old laws of physics. Following the lecture, Frost Science hosted a number of donors and board members for an intimate three-course dinner in the museum’s Aquarium – Dive Level.
